Job Purpose
You will be a key member of the Unilever Food Solutions team as an Assistant Manager for Chains. The role of the position primarily will be to lead in terms of sales and business growth of our local chain accounts, including building and nurturing customer relationships, developing strategic plans, and executing initiatives that drive business growth, among others. You are in charge of distribution, leader of operator activities, chefmanship capability development, and KPIs achievement.
Key Responsibilities
Drive business growth through Underlying Volume Growth (UVG) and sales in all channels.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with food service operators.
Lead the chefmanship capability initiatives by conducting regular training of chefs in your region.
Develop the “Grip, Grab, and Grow” strategy with local chain accounts: Grip: Gain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and culinary product offerings to offer customized solutions. Grab: Capture sales opportunities, launch new products, and add more SKUs to client menus. Grow: Strengthen relationships with existing customers, increase product usage, and drive sales growth through strategy and execution.
Monitor competitor activity and market feedback to share with key stakeholders.
Hold a solid understanding of financial metrics, including business profitability and gross margin.
Supervise the execution of activations, launch plans, and marketing strategies with detailed post-launch evaluation and improvement as appropriate.
Define processes based on data-driven insights and rigorous analysis after the execution.
New business opportunities within your area with improvements to the efficiency of existing business models.
Requirements for Success
A Bachelor’s degree 1-3 years of relevant sales experience in the FMCG B2B/Food Services industry
Strong knowledge in Customer Relationship Management and sales methodologies.
Knowledge in culinary basics and food service operations
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive change and influence the thinking of various stakeholders
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
